Happy Birthday, Einstein!

Oliver went out of town with his grandma a couple weekends ago. While he was gone, Joanna and I found ways to keep ourselves busy. One afternoon, we played "Einstein." I stuck Jo's hair up all over the place, and she performed physics experiments by dropping things from her chair to see how they fell. We thought it was a good tribute to such a remarkable person.

We also examined how things worked (she was very interested in my old camera). Lastly, we went over some mathematics (aka: counting). Every time I gave her some pieces of sandwich, we'd count how many there were (either 1, 2, or 3) before she ate them. No, Jo can't accurately count by herself yet, but she is genuinely fond of numbers (like her brother) and can often be heard shouting, "Five! Four!" when the microwave is on.
