Our 18th park in the Urbandale Parks Challenge is North Karen Acres Park, located just south of Douglas Avenue, a couple blocks east of 86th. How had I never seen it before?!
The kids loved this park! They played pirates for quite some time. There's also a swing set (which was full of kids this morning) and a sand volleyball court.
This park had a good amount of shade, and there were plenty of picnic tables--some nestled among the pine trees. We give this park high praise--fun place!
